Working with an unfinished wood box, I used wood-burning tools to create the images, then
color gel pens to add color. Once that was done, I added a fired clay eye sculpture of
mine. Inside the box, surrounding the eye, are translucent ants that glow in the dark---a nod
to Salvador, perhaps? Original Jones Art as it crawls around in northwest Austin, Texas. Ever seen 'The Crawling Eye?'
