A Bird Called Mardi

I started this last night without one conscious idea. In fact, I'd looked in some old sketchbooks for inspiration but didn't find any I could use---so I just started with the nose and worked my way around. :) I used felt-tip, w/c pencil and gel pen. Image area is 7 by 5 inches. This is Original Jones Art at his most intuitive in northwest Austin, Texas. .
