Birds presumably mate for life, or some of them do, as I recall. Hmmm. I guess saying it like that, they have that trait in common with humans. But I'm thinking that does birddom a disservice. ;) This is a 12 by 12 inches acrylic bird painting on gallery-wrapped canvas and another example of (you guessed it) Original Jones Art. Postscript: This piece was chosen for the 2015 'For The Love of Art' show at Austin ArtSpace Gallery, Austin, TX. Addendum: I gave this painting as a welcoming gift to my next door neighbors in April 2019. They moved away in 2025.
