I first tried my hand at working on Eggman IV but found it had too many moving parts for a first 'learning experience' so opted for using the painting, "Eggman II" for inspiration. I used concrete,
mortar mix and a bit of acrylic polymer for the egg and head; air-dried clay for the bird heads and
German glass doll eyes for---you guessed it. I used acrylics to paint it. It stands a bit over 18
inches with the granite base. Original Jones Art? If it isn't, I'm not sure what's happening in
Austin, Texas. And maybe I don't at that. Addendum: This piece was chosen to hang in the Summer Show at Art Space Gallery in July of 2018.
