This could very well be my last drawing before becoming 'free' of my last place of employment. At the time, I was very much like the being I drew. Even though folks would never exactly describe me as taciturn, I was in the unenviable position of having the hold my tongue at almost every turn. And when I did speak, many times my words went unheeded or were themselves considered suspect. It's very sad when a person of my integrity and intelligence finds himself in such a closed and limited environment. Need I say more? This drawing was made on the back of a Subway
sack which I had saved. They no longer use these butcher paper type sacks; the new sack
is white and with less tooth. They don't take the ink the same, needless to say. This
drawing measures 8 by 6 inches roughly. I hadn't looked at it for awhile and when I did, I liked it enough to upload. I hope you agree that this is yet another inimitable example of Original Jones Art from Austin, Texas.
