Eye Candy Prototype

Terra Toys has a Valentine's Day show opening soon and I'm scrambling to come up with something for it. Honestly, I have a difficult time bending my method to suit a theme. Many times I either bend too much and don't like it or I don't bend enough and 'consumers' don't like it. But that being said, I think this rides the fence between pure me and commercialism pretty well. I'm in the process of making 3 larger versions for the show as well---each with a different color eye. This piece stands roughly 7 inches tall and its base is 2.5 inches wide and/or square. Made of my 'special' compound, this too might be considered Original Jones Art emanating from that irascible city known as Austin, Texas. Addendum: This piece was gifted as a welcoming gift to my new neighbors, Tyler and Sharon, in September 2025.
