I've mentioned my penchant for drawing on envelopes I get in the mail so I thought I would upload an example. It's funny. There's a different psychology drawing on something that is usually discarded. With 'real' drawing paper, there's this sense of priority or importance to the act. With the envelope and cast off paper drawings, there's a freedom to do whatever one wants and hang the consequences. Also the envelopes have a texture, a tooth, that I find just right for drawing on. What do YOU prefer to draw on? Yep, I'll draw myself into a corner and say this too is Original Jones Art as it scribbles forth from a lefty in historic Austin, Texas.
