More from the 3 by 5.75 inch notepad. I scanned these and then looked at how they matched up as though they were on the same plane, if not in the same place. I also titled these individually. One is 'Hook Eye' and the other, 'The Internalist.' In fact, the more I think about it the more I like 'Internalism' as an art movement. It beats Stuckism by a mile or so. Call it the movement whose artists pull something from their internals and makes it visible or external. It wouldn't be slick as much as potentially illuminating. Yes, I like that. So shall we call this some of that Internalistic art scratched forth and de-classified as Original Jones Art here in this beehive of dis-activity, Austin, Texas? Well, why not? Addendum: The Internalist drawing caught the eye of a friend of mine at the last show so he bought it right out of my mini-album I had created for the occasion. In it were many of my recent small drawings.
