Unwarranted Complacency

I don't know about you, but I do not like slick paper to draw on. The way the ink sits on the paper inhibits my usual technique, really. This paper is slick. Also on a personal note, I think most complacency to be unwarranted. It isn't a look or a feeling I have too much in common with. There's an uneasiness to life in general and 21st Century life in particular. Make a circular motion with your mouse if you agree. This is a 5.5 by 7 and 3/8's inch gel pen drawing to which I have added some color pencil. It is a prime example of that non-complacent Original Jones Art that continues to be pulled from a pen in Austin, Texas. Hallelujah!
