Vacancy and Parted In The Middle

Anyone remember the mood rings? They were popular in the 70's so some of you probably don't. They were supposed to change color depending upon the wearer's mood/emotion. I think my drawings actually do reflect mood and/or emotion. I'm probably drawing it (okay, pun intended) from myself or from a larger nearby pool of humanity. It is really hard to tell. One drawing, to me, reflects an absence or vacancy in a person's life and the other is just a bit catatonic but not so much he can't keep his hair combed properly. Yes, these are more of the 3 by 5.75 inch notepad drawings. Maybe I need one of those motel VACANCY lights out front of the home of Original Jones Art somewhere in the wilds of Austin, Texas.
