Face Value

Interesting phrase is 'face value.' Ever notice how we tend to value the person by his or her face? How we de-value a face for a blemish, a weak chin, a scar, narrow eyes, etc.? Taking things, especially people, at 'face value' is probably the stupidest thing we do. Not ignorant. Stupid.
