Have you seen this morning's turtle?

You probably think this is an odd title for a drawing. You may be correct but parts of this face reminded me of a gentleman I knew in the 70's when I worked part-time at a retirement residence here in Austin. One morning he walked up and asked me that very question. My reply? 'No, I haven't but I saw last evening's squirrel." He's been gone a long time but this memory lingers. These slightly larger drawings, this one being 9 by 5.75 inches, actually take a full gel pen of ink.
