This Is Not Popeye

This is sort of an experimental painting and should be viewed as such. I thought that since I love drawing so much that I should try to incorporate drawing into my paintings. I bought a bunch of squeeze bottles designed for condiments---like catsup or mustard and the like---and using acrylic paint drew the initial figure onto the canvas and worked from there. I tried to use the squeeze bottles rather than the brush though I found the brush came in handy at times. This is a 16 by 12 inches acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas and an experimental example of Original Jones Art as he confounds those who say 'You can't teach an old dog new tricks.' ;)
