Prettified Anxiety

Well, I'm thinking that 'prettified anxiety' is still anxiety, it just may not have the same visceral punch to the gut. It might be more decorative and something you could comfortably hang in your morning nook where you eat croissants and sip your coffee and tell yourself over and over in your head that things are alright. I mean, wasn't that exactly what you were doing BEFORE the pandemic? You just had more activities and folks to distract you.
