Me Myself and I

I seem to remember a song by Joan Armatrading with the same title. The last time I saw her live someone saw fit to supply her with a pretty boy backing band. I always preferred just her and her guitar. But that's probably just me. Seems we come into life as a twosome but leave all by our lonesome. Maybe that's why mothers are so important to children.
