I used to think death was like a light bulb whose filament's time had expired: it just gpes out. BUT the older I get the more I think the process is much more gradual, more insidious than that. At first we are unaware that elements of ourselves are worsening because so many of the others are at full capacity. Then we begin feeling and then seeing the effects of the aging process. I admit, I do miss the naivety of the 'light bulb analogy.' This is another 3 by 3 inches sticky drawing on toned paper and another light-hearted effort by Original Jones Art to pull something true and elemental into the light here in northwest Austin, Texas.
