Down Is Trending

I was attempting to reinterpret a smaller drawing on a larger piece of paper and it just wasn't working. The pen would have dark moments and then thin light ones. So I turned the paper over and did this, using the dark and light moments as strengths instead of weaknesses. That's like life itself; a mixture of dark and light. But right now 'dark' is trending and it's bringing me and a lot of others 'down.' So, in a sense, 'down is trending' also. My drawings have a tendency to just happen which is also a lot like life too. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It is Original Jones Art as he awaits the upside of this downward trend in northwest Austin, Texas.
