I remember watching 'Birds' by Alfred Hitchcock back in the day and thinking, "I can fully understand why birds or other animals would like to give back a little of what they have received from humans over many centuries." I remember when I was a kid there were birds of all types and I liked going into the woods to see them and other animals. I have lived in my house here in northwest Austin since September of 2003 and I am seeing fewer and fewer birds, especially the song birds. Since the year I graduated high school in 1970, the world has lost 29 per cent of its birds. I can believe it. So if I were a bird, I'd try to take out a human or two on a daily basis. Maybe that would be a good premise for a movie---except, I'm sure, the corporate entertainment mongrels (or is that moguls?) would screw it up. This is a 9 by 6 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil. It's just another small tidbit of Original Jones Art as he watches a rapid decline of 'everything' here in northwest Austin, Texas.
