That Empty Feeling

I'm feeling emotionally drained at the moment and that's what probably informed and/or inspired this piece. It's not a feeling of hunger as much as the gnawing pain of absence. This is a 9 by 6 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil. It seems to be Original Jones Art's MO presently though I am working on more 3D projects here in northwest Austin, Texas. I hope it rains soon. There's a strong smell of conservatism in the air that needs washed into the gutters.
