Under a Blase Sky

Blase: unimpressed or indifferent to something because one has experienced or seen it so often before. It's difficult not to become nonchalant or indifferent about occurrences in our lives when they happen with some predictable regularity. I guess that is why folks can calmly observe even experience so much violent even insane behavior like it's just part of the daily cake walk. It isn't or, at least, it shouldn't be. My scanner just doesn't capture my brighter gel pen colors, like yellow for instance. It may interest you to know that there are bars of bright yellow in the stylized mountain range and a pretty bright yellow green on the character where the buttons are. It appears to be almost white but it isn't, I assure you. I tried something different by using photographic paper, so there's watercolor, felt tip marker and various colors of gel pen used here. It measures 8.5 by 6.25 inches. Original Jones Art calls this an experiment and though nothing exploded, even northwest Austin, Texas isn't sure if it was a success or not.
