This was another one of those experiments I sometimes do.  I found a pastel pad I'd had for years and decided to play with those gel sticks I bought a while back.  I'd used them once to good effect and thought I'd see how they did using the textured paper.  Just so you know, the gel sticks are blendable for a short time and then dry.  But you can use a brush and re-wet them even after they dry to smooth them out.  I also used the newer oil-based color pencils..  Anyway, at 12 by 8.75 inches its the largest paper piece I've done for quite a spell.  I thought it came well enough to share.
