Cut-Out or Cutup?

I drew this on some heavy bond acid-free paper and then cut it out. It sat around for a day or two and then I thought I'd add some color. It came out pretty well over-all, I think. This is an 11 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing. And for the questioning title, it could very well be a little of both.
