It's news when Damien Hirst burns 'paintings' after he has turned them into NFT's. Really, they were little more than splotches of paint, probably acrylic, on pieces of paper that looked little larger than 11 by 14 inches. And then he said something that cemented my opinion of him. "I don't know which is better." Well, that simply means he's happy playing the game and making money off it, but, with the money secure in his pocket, will happily ride the fence, or the crest of the wave, without offering a solid opinion. What a gutless individual, really. And looking at his current 'splotch' work, what an artless charlatan. This is my opinion only. You may think rotting animals in tanks is 'high' art. Anyway, I've managed a few drawings since I've been recuperating. They are rather small, on various types of paper but they all appear to wear the same expression. This is a tiny bit more of that Original Jones Art still leaking out of northwest Austin, Texas in a tangible tactile form.
