The old expression, Misery Loves Company, is usually interpreted as one who is miserable loves to make others feel the same. But if you say Misery Wants Company, you suggest the misery is caused by a lack of company, or social interaction. Of course, I'm sure there are many varieties of the ailment but as I was staring into one of my walls today, I thought I might suggest another possible interpretation.
