A motley crew refers to a diverse and poorly organized group. And, personally, I don't think you'll find a better example than this second scrap paper drawing offers. There's also a bunch of faces/figures on the reverse of this and some do show through a bit. This is a 5.5 by 8.5 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond paper.
