Half In Terror

Another of my smaller 5 by 3.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawings on medium bond acid-free paper. Is it true that we live our lives as though some big foot will at any minute come down to smash us? And that is the reason we fill our time smashing others as some demented preemptive strike? I guess any massive hive develops the proverbial hive mentality. But we aren't bees. Though, from a distance, we probably more resemble ants as we scurry here and there on this tiny sphere.
