Unfinished Puzzle

I've long thought that 'man' as in humankind, is incomplete. There's an integral component or piece missing. Some regulatory agent that would bounce the creature back into reality and truth before something is said or done that can't be undone.; something very stupid, callous or inhumane. There does seem to be a missing component, don't you think? This is a cut-out envelope drawing using the security side pattern.
