Humans want to be remembered for something we did in our lives. So we go out of our way to make an impact---positive or negative. Some of us make that impact out of ignorance and some die oblivious of any impact at all. But the truth is, most of us can find ourselves largely forgotten even before dying. If we live long enough, our friends and family are gone and we find our old co-workers nothing more than that. Upon retirement, they strike us off the list. If memory were a light bulb, it would be about one-fourth the wattage of a refrigerator bulb by this time. This is another envelope drawing. It was rather thick and had a slight pattern but took the ink fine. It measures 7.5 by 2.5 inches. Original Jones Art stating the facts as he remembers them in northwest Austin, Texas.
