Self Dissolving

Ever get the feeling that your personality, your psyche, if you will, is slowly dissolving much like a sugar cube in a glass of water? The psychologists probably have a name for it. They have a name for everything and a cure for literally nothing. I guess, metaphorically, the water could be the society in which one finds oneself.
