Hatchling

This guy seems a little bummed out to be awakening to 'new life' in such an environment. But I guess we are all born a bit hesitant and wary even in our infancy. At least this guy has blue skies and the promise of rain in his forecast. Seems we can't even expect that on a regular basis these days. It's either too much or not enough. This is a 6.75 by 5.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil. Yeah, it was based on a small quick sketch I rather liked.
