Cyclical

Cyclical. Occurring in cycles; recurrent. The old cartoon with the hamster inside the spinning wheel seems to encapsulate it very well. We move about, procreate, push our egos hither and yon for a few years, then fall over. Our children and our children's children, wearing similar faces, pick up the baton to start it all over again.
