Blind Youth

They have eyes but do not see....hmmm...sounds familiar. All children are blind (ignorant/naive) to so much and it depends greatly on HOW they are introduced to the truths of this world. So much of our lives are spent crawling around in the dark. But I know exactly how some of you will respond to this. I am neither as ignorant nor naive---as I once was. Anyway, I thought his eyes looked out but didn't focus on anything---in much the same way the blind go about with their eyes open yet unseeing. This is a 8.25 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil on medium bond paper. Original Jones Art says "Less drinking and more thinking!" here in northwest Austin, Texas.
